Dissolving Into Infinity
In the hush beyond the mind’s design,
Where thought’s bright ripples cease to roam,
I slip beneath the surface line—
And drift in silence, vast as home.
No object calls my gaze to cling,
No name, no shape, no fleeting sound;
Awareness is a boundless wing
That lifts me where no edge is found.
Knowing without thinking—pure,
A dawn that breaks without a sun;
The self dissolves, the lines obscure,
And all that’s many melts to one.
Finitude, a fragile shell,
Unfolds into the endless sea;
I am the wave, the tide, the swell,
And all of time dissolves in me.
Here, in this eternal space,
No boundaries of “I” or “you”;
Just consciousness, a soft embrace,
The source, the witness, and the view.
Meditation—silent art—
Is merging with the infinite;
The mind’s small lantern, set apart,
Extinguished in the boundless light.
No thought, no form, no need to be—
Just being, vast and ever free.
