 “Unclinging Hands”

I move like wind through branches bare,

Unbound by gain, untouched by care.

The deed is done, yet I am free—

No chain of “mine” encircles me.

No fruit I crave, no prize I seek,

No mountain peak, no fame to speak.

The act itself—its dance, its flame—

Is joy enough, without a name.

For those who see with vision clear,

The path is wide, the sky is near.

They sow, they serve, they do, then rest,

Not grasping more, nor fearing less.

Like rivers flowing to the sea,

They give, release, and simply be.

Their hearts are light, their burdens few—

For nothing sticks to what is true.
