Some cause happiness wherever they go—
Like sunlight spilling through a window,
Their laughter ripples, bright and clear,
And hearts feel lighter when they’re near.
They carry warmth in every word,
A gentle kindness, softly heard;
Their presence, like a summer breeze,
Brings comfort, hope, and gentle ease.
But others, too, in their own way,
Bring happiness, though not to stay—
For when they leave, the air feels light,
As if the day grew twice as bright.
Their absence is a silent cheer,
A subtle sigh: “At last, they’re clear!”
We smile, relieved, as shadows part—
A different joy, but still the heart.
So whether coming or they’re gone,
Some happiness goes traveling on—
In every meeting, every end,
We find a joy, of kind or blend.
For life is full of such delight:
Some shine at noon, some at goodnight.
