A Moment, An Eternity
It takes a minute, swift and shy,
A glance beneath a blushing sky,
A spark ignites without a sound—
A heartbeat lost, a soul unbound.
An hour drifts like whispered rain,
You speak, and I forget my name.
In laughter’s tide, I start to see
The pull you have, the light in me.
A day, and love begins to bloom,
A fragile rose in morning’s room.
We dance where silent wishes grow,
And every word begins to show.
But time moves on, as time must do,
And fate may pull me far from you.
Yet though we part, and years may bend,
Some echoes never truly end.
For in the corners of my mind,
Your shadow lingers, soft and kind.
Though seasons fade and stars reset—
A lifetime’s not enough… to forget.
