What you hold tight slips through your hands like grains of time or shifting sands. Cling too close, and watch it stray.

The more you grasp, the more it slips away.

You only lose what you clutch so near, fears and hopes, both bright and clear.

Let go the weight, release the bind, and freedom’s breath will ease your mind.

The river flows, it does not stall, It loses nothing, yet gives to all.Hold not too tight, nor grasp in vain.

For loss is born from grasping pain.

In gentle hands, the world can stay, but clutching tight, it fades away.

You only lose what you cling to.

So open palms will bring you through.
