In the depths where shadows loom,
I felt the weight, the sense of doom.
The waters rose, the currents strong,
I feared I'd drown, that I didn't belong.
But in the struggle, I found my grace,
Each wave a lesson, a warm embrace.
The tides that pulled, the storms that roared,
Were teachers in disguise, not foes to be ignored.
Every gasp for air, a chance to learn,
In every twist and turn, a strength to discern.
The depths that once seemed dark and grim,
Revealed the truth: they taught me to swim.
Now I glide with the ocean's flow,
Grateful for the depths, where courage can grow.
For what once seemed like the end, a perilous whim,
Was the beginning of freedom, where I learned to swim.
